Reflection Questions

The following is an additional case taken from the library publishing community that might help you think through user-centered design. How would you address this scenario?

You are working on a textbook called Fundamentals, Function, and Form, an OER designed for the “comprehensive study of the theory and analysis of tonal Western art music.” The book includes examples of musical concepts both as audio clips and musical notation. If you were advising the author on accessibility, how would you recommend accounting for user needs?

(Note: You can see what the author decided to do by checking this example of beat division and the this GitHub repository with source files.)
